My manager treats me and all her subordinates very badly. So much so that every day I dread going to work. It is affecting me physically, mentally and emotionally as I feel very abused all the time. My husband lost his job recently and because we have 3 children to take care of I can’t afford to quit my job. Please I need your advice on how to cope because I am really losing my sanity and I feel God has abandoned me

Hello there, Hope you are doing great today. I read your question and I truly felt your pain. Something similar happened to a very close friend. She experienced a lot of trauma with her very cruel boss but God answered her prayers because one day, totally out of the blue, her boss’ husband had to relocate to another country and she had to resign and go with him. This led to Management appointing a new boss, also female, who over a short period of time because like a precious sister to her and her joy and peace was fully restored.

I’ll like to say to you keep praying and ask God for strength. As God strengthens you, you will be able to withstand anything. Know also that sometimes when things are hard and we want a change so we can find relief so badly, we must also pause and try to see what God is doing in our lives. Just like gym activities, difficult times and pressure are meant to strengthen us, build us, make us stronger and wiser and also prepared for the future. So please stop fighting or struggling against the challenge rather know this that God can never abandon you – HE is right there. He is not there just observing you suffer – NO. He is right there giving you strength. Receive the love and strength you need, hold your peace and trust God for His ultimate deliverance. Please study Psalm 30:1-5, Isaiah 40:29-31, Exodus 14. God bless you
